PAYMENT SCHEDULE     REGISTRATION FORM   CANCELLATION FORM

POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

OUR PROGRAM IS A CONTINUOUS PROGRAM.  Therefore, once you are signed up for a lesson, you will stay enrolled until you inform us that you are discontinuing lessons.  During the summer, morning lessons at the Discovery Preschools will be changed due to summer camp at these locations.  Morning lessons will begin at 7:30 am so that all lessons are done by 10:00 am.

 If you are planning on discontinuing lessons, you must notify us by phone or in writing by the 7th of the preceding month (for example, notification by March 7 to discontinue lessons for April.)  For your convenience, a cancellation form will be available at all locations.  A confirmation of your cancellation will be given by email.

 All registration fees and tuition are due at time of enrollment and are nonrefundable.  Credit and debit card customers will be automatically charged the second week of the month for the following month (four weeks of lessons).  Check payments will be accepted only if registering and paying per quarter (3 months).  If a check is returned for any reason, a $25 fee will be charged to your account; payment is due immediately upon notification.  A check must be received by the 7th of the month prior to the next quarter to guarantee your time for the next quarter.  Therefore, a payment is due by March 7th for April, May, and June; a payment is due by June 7th for July, August, and September; and a payment is due by September 7th for October, November and December.

 An annual registration fee for each student is due with the first registration of the calendar year ($35 first family member, $25 second family member, $15 third family member).  Upon receipt of a signed, completed, registration form, each student will receive a gift.

 We reserve the right to change any class that does not fill. 

REFUND POLICY

 We have a NO REFUND POLICY. If you do not notify us by the 7th of the month, your credit card will be charged.   If you know in advance that your child will miss a number of lessons, or if your child will be out for an extended time due to illness or vacation, we recommend that you suspend your lessons.  The remaining balance will be held on your QSI account until such time as you are ready to resume.   No refunds will be issued.  If you suspend your lessons for any reason, we cannot guarantee your original time and teacher when you are ready to return.  We will do the best we can when you return, but please keep in mind that certain hours and teachers are very difficult to get.

 BONUS LESSONS

 We are no longer offering make-up lessons because they are the most difficult and time-consuming part of any swim program.  We believe our new policy will benefit our customers without disturbing the integrity of our lessons. 

 Since some months have five weeks, every class will receive an extra lesson every quarter.   This extra lesson is considered your makeup lesson if you were absent.  If you do not miss a lesson, this is a free BONUS lesson. 

WEATHER

 If it is raining at your home or business, do not assume it is raining here.  We do swim in the rain, but not if conditions are dangerous.  We cancel in 30-minute increments.  We will do our best to contact you.  If you have not heard from us, it is best to arrive.  If you choose not to come because of the weather and we have not cancelled, we will not reschedule the lesson.

 RESCHEDULING LESSONS

 A lesson may be rescheduled when a lesson is cancelled by Quality Swimming due to weather, pool or staffing issues.  If you are going to miss a lesson, a courtesy call would be appreciated to assure our ability to reschedule lessons for you and our other students.    We do not guarantee the same teacher or time for rescheduled lessons.  Once a rescheduled lesson has been booked, it may not be rescheduled.  Special Reschedule Days will be added as needed.  Also you may attend our Family Fun Swim with teacher supervision for a rescheduled lesson.  If two or more lessons have been cancelled, you may request a credit on your Quality Swimming Account to be used next month. 

 FAMILY FUN SWIM

 Family Fun Swim is an opportunity for you to practice skills with your children with the guidance of our teachers.  The dates and locations will be posted on our annual calendar and you may attend any location.  A family Fun Swim time is a 2-hour block reserved for open swim.  Reservations are required so that we may staff our location to meet our safety guidelines.

 SPECIAL PACKAGE

 This new package is a comprehensive program made up of eight 30-minute private lessons.  Classes are held Monday through Thursday for two consecutive weeks.  Due to our continuous program, these packages will not be scheduled at peak times.  We are very excited to be offering this option.  This is a great way to get your child over a hump, get ready for camp, or get ready for a new swimming pool.

 SWIM DIAPERS 

If a student is not toilet-trained or toilet-trained for less than 6 months, he/she must wear a disposable swim diaper and an approved cloth swim diaper to assure a double layer of protection.  The cloth swim diaper must pass the two-finger test (if 2 fingers can be inserted under the elastic in the legs and waist, the swim diaper is too large and the child will not be permitted to enter the water).  Disposable diapers alone do not pass the Board of Health Code for public pools. 

PARENTAL SUPERVISION 

Please do not let children enter the pool area until the teacher calls them.  All children must be supervised by parents when not in the water. 

PHOTOGRAPHS

Photos are occasionally taken at Quality Swimming and are used for Quality Swimming publicity purposes.  Please indicate on your registration form if you would not like your child’s photo used.
